InfiniteMD is excited to announce Amanda Wood, MBA, will be leading Marketing and Communications as the company grows domestically. She brings with her intensive experience in the telehealth industry, having driven both B2B efforts and led go-to-market strategy for some of the nation’s top health plans, employers, and hospitals.
She was previously with American Well, a leader in the enterprise telehealth landscape, where she helped institutions like Massachusetts General Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and payers like Anthem Inc., deploy their telehealth programs across a number of regions and clinical use cases. She also helped launch American Well’s first direct-to-consumer mobile app, AmWell, and, their Health Kiosk, a virtual onsite clinic for employers. Wood has expertise in building awareness and utilization amongst consumers and providers, and enjoys helping partners design and grow their unique digital health programs. She has also spent time on the healthcare brokerage side, managing large employer accounts at Northwestern Mutual and building custom campaigns to engage and educate employees on their benefit packages.

Wood received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. She later received her MBA from Chapman University, where she concentrated on Entrepreneurial Studies with a focus on healthcare. She completed a cross-cultural program in Scandinavia where she authored a thesis on the approval and reimbursement process in single-payer markets for new therapies. She has also completed Executive Education programs in marketing, prototyping, and fostering creativity at Harvard Business School.
